Riding Lessons
Horseback riding is a good way to get exercise and learn responsibility. We teach all ages and abilities. First we access your riding level and place you in an appropriate program. You can ride for fun or competitively.
Monthly rates
1 hr group lesson w/ AH horse $200
1 hr group lesson on own horse $150
1/2 hr group beginner lesson $125
Private lessons
1 hr private lesson w/ AH horse $75
1 hr private lesson on own horse $60
1/2 hr private lesson (advanced) $40
1/2 hr private beginner lesson $45
We also offer a "saddle club" that is geared towards groups who would like to learn about horses but are not able to make a commitment to a weekly program. The group meets one Saturday a month and gets an hour and a half riding lesson along with a stable management lesson. The fee is $50 per person and the group has up to 8 people in it. The riding session will have no more than 4 people per instructor. This club is a good opportunity for church groups, school groups or neighborhood groups who want to ride but for financial or time constraints cannot ride on a more regular basis. We provide the horse and equipment. Each rider needs a helmet and hard soled shoe with heels. They are more than welcome to purchase a beginner's kit.
